Getting started

From asking to earning

  1. Apply

    Sign up with your phone number, then tell us your business name, where it is, and your NIDA number. It is stored encrypted and only our staff can read it.

  2. We check and approve

    A person reviews it and we agree a contract. Once you are approved, you will be asked to add a second layer of security — your account can hold money now.

  3. We set up your hotspot

    We create your network, connect the payment page, and install the access point in your shop.

  4. You set prices and sell

    Add your bundles, we switch the site on, and the first customer can buy. We test it with you before we leave.

The money

Clear before you agree to it

Every sale is recorded against your wallet. Quantum takes a commission on each sale, and the mobile money provider takes its own fee — both are itemised, never hidden in a rounded number.

The sending fee sits on top of what you ask for, and both figures are shown together before you confirm — you will never find out about a fee afterwards.

Before you ask us

What do my customers need?

A phone and mobile money. No app, no account, no password. Their phone is recognised automatically if they come back while their time is still running.

What do I need?

A shop, an internet connection you already pay for, and a mobile money number in your name. We handle the network setup and the access point.

Who decides the prices?

You do. You create the bundles — how long and how much — and change them whenever you want. Three options tends to work best, and we will explain why when you set them up.

How do I get paid?

Earnings collect in your wallet in the app. When you want the money, you send it to your own mobile money number. For safety, a newly added number cannot be used for 24 hours, and every withdrawal needs a security code.

What if a customer pays and does not get online?

The system keeps retrying in the background for up to 24 hours, and the customer is told their payment arrived and that they are being connected. They are never shown a failure for money that was taken.

Is my customers' data safe?

We do not create customer accounts and we do not ask them for personal details. A purchase needs only the number they pay with.

Can I stop?

Yes. Talk to us and we will agree how to wind it down and settle what you are owed.
